Maryam Pakdehi is currently a Ph.D. student in the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at Florida State University. Her work focuses on the simulation of floods to enhance our understanding about underlying mechanisms and support decisions related to risk mitigation. Additionally, her research has focused on simulating water distribution networks, water quality and the impact of climate and land cover change on watersheds. She has a master's degree in civil and environmental engineering from the University of Tehran and a bachelor's degree in water and wastewater civil engineering from Shahid Beheshti University. Maryam has nine years of industry experience in the water and wastewater company of Tehran province. Her research has been published in several journals and she has delivered several presentations at various conferences.
