Morgan State University
Dr. Xin Zhou is a post-doctoral researcher at the Civil Engineering department of Morgan State University. She received her Ph.D. degree in Geoscience from the University of Houston in 2021. Her study interests include using GPS survey measurements accompanied by multiple remote sensing techniques, such as satellite datum, airborne LiDAR, and ground-based LiDAR, to investigate natural hazards issues like land subsidence, coastal erosion, and sea-level rise within methodologies of change detection, big data analysis, and regression simulation. Currently, she is doing research about the sea-level rise and land subsidence problems in the Chesapeake Bay region in Maryland.
