Ph.D. student, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering
Clarkson University
I have started my Doctoral Degree in Water Resources Engineering at Clarkson University under the supervision of Professor Baki. I am interested in focusing my research on prevailing morphological process, future development of the rivers/lakes and the associated effects on ecosystems.
I received an M.Sc. in Water Resources Engineering and B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), both in Bangladesh.
As a dedicated, dynamic and technically astute Water Resources Engineer, I possess 13 years’ experience within local government, consulting and research projects with a particular focus on morphological modelling and investigation; reviewed related studies and analyzed hydro morphological data, development of Coastal Model to hindcast and forecast sedimentation and erosion of tidal rivers for short, medium and long term, development of two-dimensional morphological model using MIKE21FM/MIKE21C/Delft 3D modelling system capable of predicting sediment transport, bed levels and bank erosion.
