Ph.D.
UNIVERSITY OF ABERDEEN
While growing up, my Mum would say success is not unalterable; failure is not lethal: It is the courage to continue that count. It motivated me all through my years. That hard work is the recipe for success. I trust that all our dreams can come true; if we dare to pursue them. I believe in diversity and inclusion. I studied at Rivers State University of Science and Technology, graduating in 2010 with a B. Tech Major in Environmental Engineering. I pursued an M Phil in Engineering at the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom I gained admission to the University of Aberdeen to pursue a PhD. in Environmental Soil Science. My PhD. research in Aberdeen focuses on mitigating pollution in Ogoni-land, Niger Delta, a significant challenge in this region of Nigeria that I believe has not received sufficient attention. I combined the development of a conceptual site model for Eco-toxicological and chemical analysis of soil with an integrated assessment of the impact of pollution on this area. Mary is Experience in Environmental Remediation and Sustainable Engineering and others. Mary is an Engineer in Training in Saskatchewan Canada and her P.Eng is (in view). She is open to Teaching and Industry opportunity.
