Dr. Frank Tsai is a professor of water resources in the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering, Louisiana State University. He joined LSU in 2003. He is an adjunct professor of the LSU Center for Computation & Technology since 2015. He serves as the Director of Louisiana Water Resources Research Institute since 2015. He is a fellow of LSU Coastal Studies Institute since 2019. He received his B.S. degree in Agricultural Engineering from the National Chung Hsing University (Taiwan) in 1993, and M.S. degree in Civil Engineering from the National Taiwan University (Taiwan) in 1995. He received his Ph.D. degree in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2002 and stayed at UCLA one more year as a postdoc fellow (2002-2003).
