Dr. Seneshaw Tsegaye is an Associate Professor in the Department of Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering and Construction Management at Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU). Dr. Tsegaye’s latest research projects are focused on Integrated Urban Water Management, and the application of Virtual Reality based Decision Support System for Flood Resiliency. Before joining FGCU, he served as a Director of the Climate Change and Sustainability Program at the Patel College of Global Sustainability, University of South Florida. In the past, Dr. Tsegaye has involved in numerous research projects including one of the largest EU funded projects titled, “SWITCH-Managing Water for the Cities of the Future”. Dr. Tsegaye has a successful track record in directing applied R&D, curriculum development, and building strong collaboration with international organizations.
