Aly Salem is a hydraulic and optimization engineer who graduated from Cairo University with a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering in 2017, and then, earned an MSc degree in 2021. During this period, he worked as a teaching assistant for CU and as a part-time hydrology engineer for Khatib & Alami consulting company. In June 2021, he started his PhD in water and environmental engineering at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he worked as a research and teaching assistant. Recently, he joined the Strategic Support Team in Optimatics, as an optimization engineer.
