Ms. Petschauer is the Stormwater Program Administrator for the City of Pasadena. She has 19+ years of experience in water quality, NPDES/MS4 compliance and stormwater program management including serving as the watershed lead of the Upper Los Angeles River Watershed Management Group (ULAR WMG) for 7 years. During her tenure as watershed lead, Ms. Petschauer pioneered innovative compliance strategies for addressing the Group’s 22 TMDLs, including the Load Reduction Strategy Adaptation Plan—a $1.85M Safe Clean Water Program-funded Special Study—which developed and implemented an effective framework to address human health risk from pathogen exposure, by focusing on eliminating sources of human waste to the municipal separate storm sewer system (MS4).
