Tampa Bay Water
Dr. Hui Wang works as a principal water resources system engineer at Tampa Bay Water. He obtained his Ph.D. from North Carolina State University and worked as a postdoctoral research scientist at the University of Texas at Austin. His main research interests include sustainable water resources management, hydroclimatology, and the application of climate modeling tools and outputs in water resources management and planning. He has published 30 articles in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Wang is a licensed professional engineer and a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), American Geophysical Union (AGU), and American Water Resources Association (AWRA). In his current role at Tampa Bay Water, he supports the development of decision-making tools, including water shortage mitigation plan, seasonal water resources allocation model and the master water planning tool.
