Dr. Ahmad is a professor of water resources and a senior water management expert with a broad background. He has over 20 years of experience in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, integrated water resources management, climate change impacts, water-energy nexus, urban water use, water policy, teaching, and training.
Dr. Ahmad is a Department Chair of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Construction at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Dr. Ahmad has taught a variety of graduate and undergraduate courses in fluid mechanics, hydrodynamic modeling, water resources engineering, water resources systems, and storm water management.
