Sammy Rivera is an Assistant Professor at the School of Construction and Civil Engineering, at Oregon State University, focusing on water resources and hydroinformatics. Sammy was born and raised in Puerto Rico, where he got his bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez. He completed his MS and Ph.D. at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in the area of Sustainable and Resilient Infrastructure Systems.
